DHi Celebrates New Arlington Business Office

Arlington, Virginia (October 31, 2007)—Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) held a festive Open House celebration on Wednesday afternoon, October 24.

The occasion? To announce the formal launch of its new Arlington, Virginia business headquarters at 1005 N. Glebe Rd. near the Ballston Metro station. Congressman Jim Moran, who represents the Eighth Congressional District of Virginia, officiated at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility, which encompasses approximately 20,000 sq. ft. in the heart of Arlington’s vibrant military tech corridor.

Other distinguished guests from the academic, business, and DoD communities were in attendance at the event, which was hosted by DHi President and CEO Richard J. Martin. An official delegation from Jones County, NC—headed by County Commission Chairman Joe Wiggins—was also on hand to present Mr. Martin with a North Carolina flag, symbolically cementing the county’s growing business relationship with DHi. The company is slated to move into its new R&D and manufacturing facility in Trenton, NC later this year.
